185 gms stoned dates, chopped 1 tablespoon mixed peel 125 gms preserved ginger, drained and chopped 90 gms butter 60 gms raw sugar 3 cups muesli flakes 250 gms dark chocolate, melted crystallized violets
Place all the ingredients except the chocolate and violets in a heavy-bottomed saucepan and heat gently until the butter has melted. Stir to mix well. Do not allow the mixture to boil. Press the mixture into a buttered Swiss roll pan and set aside to cool. When cold and firm, cut into tiny moulds or roll in little balls. Cover with melted chocolate and decorate with a crystallized violet.
